Your participation makes a difference in the success of the organization. You must be a member in order to participate in any of our exhibitions and to have a vote in decisions that affect the future direction of the collective.  Presently, we meet the 2nd Sunday of each month, 3-5pm on the campus of Spelman College in the Women’s Resource Center which is located on the second floor of the Cosby Building. If there is a change in our regular meeting place it is usually mentioned in advance on our list serve.  It is expected that members attend at least 5 (five) meetings within the calendar year, with exception given to those members who are out of town. Attending monthly meetings in person is essential to the core of  sharing, learning, critiquing, and bonding within a network of seasoned photographers. We are not an on-line collective exclusively.

  1. Hi Ladies, I am in sunny California. I want to partner with you all and bridge the east coast/west coast gap. I live in Santa Barbara, CA. We have a very small AA population. I am the only AA female photographer I know about in my area. I have been making photographs since 1983, when I became a Photographer’s Mate in the U.S. Navy. In 1999, I became a self taught illustrator. I have combined both of my ‘passions.’ into my collection. What I don’t have is an exhibition space. Most of the work is online and in my apartment. Would you all consider a partnership? Thanks in advance for consideration.

      • Hi Ladies! Many changes have happened since I emailed you all months ago. Currently I am submitting my work to the photo stock agency called : istock/Getty Images They are one of the leading photo stock agencies in the world. Just started submitting, have had seven images get accepted. Very satisfying, a training course is availble on the website. However one must be selected to join. Check Getty for more details.
